Update:
Went to the dealer yesterday, and saw the car upclose and personal. Car is great, Audi interiors are something else. They offered a test drive wich i refused, trying to avoid the temptation...
They offered to order the car, If I wanted, but decided to wait until the 2010 show up. Probablly will find a better deal if the car is in stock...
Thanks for the help....

and I was able to take it to 160Mph... total blast to drive it like that, it literally felt like driving at 75, well planted on the ground and very responsive. I must say that getting to 140 was the easy part, from 140 past 155, it took a while for some reason... that experience kept me smiling for about a week and tough me to really respect the glorious 4.2L V8.

Great car - my hope is they offer the detuned supercharger that is in the A6 for this car next year.
All the reviews are very positive for this car.

I would caution you against test driving the Q5. Unless you want to buy it. 2 weeks ago I went in to test drive one, the first of several planned drives of different models. 2 hours later I was the proud owner of a Q5. Never even drove any other models. After driving the Q5 I realized I didn't need to.
You will love it.

I've always managed to negotiate a better price for cars in demand when I factory order. Managed to lock in the order for my current 2005 XC90 V8 below invoice, and they were selling for list when I picked it up...my 2010 Q5 order was the same- better price for the order than the one on the lot- though it hasn't showed up yet. ![Frown](https://www.audiworld.com/forums/images/smilies/frown.gif)
