As hot as calipers get, do you think they'll stay on? I don't.

They stay on just fine as long as you buy the high temp vinyl cutouts.

Just search on ebay, and only buy if it says High Temp.

My audi rings have been on my rear painted calipers for a year with no problems whatsoever. You can even spray them with high pressure water if you like.

They say they'll last 7 years or so.

Calipers don't get all that hot. I use regular Krylon paint on my calipers and rotors. Never had a problem with bubbling. Go measure the temperatures when you get home from a drive.

Go search on eBay using something like "Audi brake decal". There lots of choices and some will make custom sizes.

I forgot where I got them, but I had them on my TT for 5 years. They still looked new when I sold it.

I bought my decals from Ebay. Pretty simple to put on. Clean the calipers first, peel off the backing on the decal, set it in place and then use a credit card or plastic to press onto the location and squeeze out the air pockets, remove transfer tape. You can also sprayed on some clear coat afterwards. Here are some pics of mine.
