Ok and three questions, is clearcoat necessary after? secondly, I have black painted rims so will clear coat mess that up if i accidently get it on them? lastly, what clearcoat should i use?

Clear coat is not necessary. It puts a protective layer over the decals.

No because the rim should be taken off the car. Do you really think you should spray paint between the spokes?

No because the rim should be taken off the car. Do you really think you should spray paint between the spokes?
I'm just going to use rubbing alcohol in between the rims and out them on without a clear coat over it. is that ok?

It's fine with me. The worse that can happen is that the decals fall off.
