Any word on whether the loyalty discount will be carried forward for 2014 models ? I think it was $1000 off MSRP for 2013 Q5's.

I ask because I just received a post card from my local Audi dealer offering "$500 off the purchase or lease of any new Audi". On the reverse side it states: "Because you're an Audi owner, you're invited to take advantage of this exclusive offer ! For a limited time, we're offering you $500 off the purchase or lease of a new Audi because you are a valued guest...". The offer expires 5/18/13.

If this is the Audi USA loyalty program, it is a bit disappointing and would suggest that Audi USA may be phasing out the program. I thought it was $1500 just 2 years ago.

For the past five years when I was waiting to order an S5, it's been $1k, though I think it varres by model; less for an A3 and more for an A6 though I'm not sure of of that.

They combined the dollar amounts.

750 was lease / 1500 purchase. So they split the difference and made it $1000 for either.

2013 Loyalty runs through July 8, so probably won't hear anything about 2014 until then (not sure???). You can find the info on most dealership pages - audiusa just has a general mention that says contact your dealer. Here's an example dealership:

It's split, just not in half. Hurray for pedantry. But yeah, "split the difference" normally means to take the midpoint, so it'd be $1125 in that case. Maybe they have more people leasing than buying, so a flat $1000 keeps the overall payout approximately the same and keeps an "even" number that sounds good.


As for loyalty, it seems like it's always renewed once it expires, but of course you don't necessarily know how much it'll be. And there may be a short period of time where the new program isn't in place quite yet. But there's little reason to think it won't continue.

I got a $3000 off offer just last week for current year models, as one of my Audis just turned 4 years old. I got a similar one at the same time last year. So while not on the 2014 models, maybe patience is the key?

$3000 is for a8s

$1500 for a6 & a7.

Everything else is $1000.

My split was off a little. The cash and finance folks got shorted a few dollars. But the lease guys are happier.
