Default Misano Red SQ5 on its way!!!

Dealer sent me a email saying it will arrive first week in November (7 months after order). Did confirm the misano red. Guess I will wait and see if it really happens.

Great news! That's going to be one hot and certainly unique SQ5.

Maybe he's looking for interior refinement and "reasonably-priced" option packages over all-out performance...

I like Porsche but they nickel and dime you for everything. Hell I am surprised they don't charge you for a gas tank

Even if the Macan Turbo were available today at a similar price point to the SQ5 (and we all know it'll more likely be about $20k more), I'd still take the SQ5. The Macan will undoubtedly be faster and better handling, but for my purposes, the SQ5 is already way too much crossover/suv for its own good, and I love how it looks. Not a fan of the more raked profile of the Macan from 'Ring testing spy shots and renderings. Looks like a cutesy mini-me version of a Cayenne, skip. Don't get me wrong, I have a GT3 so I'm a big fan of Porsche, but I'm just not a fan of anything outside of a Porsche sports car. Panameras, Cayennes, and Macans don't interest me one bit, with the exception of the the Sport Turismo concept. That is definitely one hot wagon and it took all the ugly away from the Panamera's rump in my book. Now if Porsche actually builds one with a non-hybrid powerplant, it would be the first non-sports-car Porsche I'd actually consider buying. I'd even take a diesel version.
