Default MMI DVD?

Just picked up our new white Q5 P+ from the dealer last night.

The salesman was walking us through all the MMI functions and stated when the car is not moving you could pop-in a DVD and watch on the MMI screen. Did not know this.

Second he said that there was a way to watch a DVD when the car was moving but that he was not going to show me how that is possible.

Anyone know or tried?

There's a simple VCDS hack that enables what people call "VIM" (video in motion). I helped someone do it a couple of weeks ago, it's fairly easy.

There is a way you can change it through VCDS. Unfortunately, I only use macs and haven't found any mac compatible VCDS software so I'm not sure how I am going to make it work.

x2. I run Windows XP using VMware Fusion on my MBPro. Runs VCDS (and ETKA ) just fine. I have done the VIM mod and most others available.
