this is really annoying...
the MMI does not display any language other than English.

All other just come up as boxes?! All they had to do was change the system to Unicode/UTF8 or something like that right =(

Are you saying that you can not change the MMI language?

Did you try this..

Function selector button SETUP > control button Settings > Menu language.

You can select the languages German, English, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch or Russian.

I have no problem to see Russian song title, but friend of my can't see Chinese in his BMW - only boxes - exactly like poster described..

yea, i meant mp3 titles =P

yea I know BMW shows boxes as well, Mercedes shows just about any language.

I am just a little disappointed at Audi for this I guess =(

Let me add to this: main display will show Russian titles, but the little one between speedometer and tachometer doesnt.
