Default MMI update for 2014 SQ5? HN+_US_AU3G_P0726

Hello!

I just bought an 2014 SQ5 and the software version is HN+_US_AU3G_P0726, I tried to call the dealership and see is there any updated version and they said they do not know and have to do an hour rate to check and if so I also need to pay for the MMI update.. SO really not getting much help on the calls, and I am wondering if anyone know if there have any update can be perform? I also did a few researchs google and there is a fews saying that I can download on the myaudi/ audiconnect web site, however, on my page.. there is only two options..

You can only download yourself on later models not a '14. You have to go to the dealer with a specific issue like "my phone won't connect to mmi" and they might try an update as part of their troubleshoot.
Regardless, the MMI update may not net you anything if you do not currently experience any issues on your current version. It certainly isn't a NAV update which is quite expensive from the dealer.

if I have the audi connect subscription, do I get the google map update automatically on the system? or the google earth map is still the 14 version?

If you have audi connect then in the car the google services consist of a google Earth overlay on the HDD nav maps so it looks like satellite imagery not just roads but the roads are from the built in nav only, and the ability to search for destinations from google online service. From your computer you can find google map locations that you can then save to you audi connect subscription and pull them to the car. (Not really much better than just searching for an online destination when in the car.) So not a true google maps and therefore no map updates if that is what you are asking. Only the newer MMI B9 A4 etc. and MKII Q5 etc. get user downloadable updates. I forget how it works 3 updates or 3 years or something like that. Dealer map updates are really the only option on a MK1 SQ5 or maybe some rouge internet downloads if you are daring
