Just got back from one of my local dealers in S.E. PA and got a little news on the arrival of the facelifted/updated '13 Q5. (most of which conflicts with some previous posts)
It seems from a graphical chart direct from AoA, the '13's won't be coming to dealers until "winter 2012" - meaning approx. November
Also, I inquired about '13 order guides already being uploaded in their systems and they said "no, not yet...we don't anticipate any of that until about May/June if the MY '13 launch is scheduled for November". I saw an earlier post about some order guides already being installed into another dealers system already, but I'm not sure if certain dealers get first dibbs or what. Any thoughts?
Anyway, the lease on my '09 3.2 S-line is up in mid-June and I'm really interested in getting into another Q with the 3.0T. Anyone have experience with lease extensions or other options that would enable me to bridge the gap between June & November???
PS - drove the new Allroad for sh*ts & giggles while I was there (they're on tour right now in the PA area). Not bad...nice looking car! Shame they're only gonna offer the 2.0T (love the engine in general...it's just not my cup of tea). 5 Allroads in total on this tour, all Euro spec with sport seats too in a caramel/nougat color. (which we Americans won't get either

Out here in Vegas, used Audi's are in such high demand that the dealerships are actually encouraging people to end their leases early so they can get the vehicles on their lots...I'm not sure if that's how the market is out east, but if so, my guess is a lease extension isn't going to come with a smoking deal.

What you heard actually equals what I've been told since last fall, when I ordered my 2012 Q5. I was told about the 3.0T engine, and encouraged to wait, if I could, but the wait would be until October, as that was when the MY 2013 Qs would be released.
About your lease...you can contact your leasing company and extend your lease a few months. Audi is fairly decent about this IF you are purchasing another Audi. A good place to start is with your dealership's sales manager, and with the leasing company.

I'm from Chicago originally and brought my TT with me when I came out West, so I am fairly familiar with the demand for quattro (a sports car w/ quattro is the only sports car I would own in the Midwest), but I had never seen a dealer encourage ending a lease early at no penalty until when I was at my dealership a few weeks ago.
Is that commonplace out East?

Lately, it has been, ever since the demand for used car has sky rocketed. Its good news for people who is trading in their cars, the trade in value for Audi is the highest I have ever seen it.

All I know in looking for a 2010 A5 Cab is there are not many around. Occasionally one will sell for low 40's but most are mid 40's. Not to mention they want to absolutely hose me on my 2008 MB ML350 as a trade...

I was also told today by another dealership that they might be able to order a 2013 Q5 soon. I just ordered my Q5 on Monday. Maybe i should have waited :P but if it is still November then i can not wait that long

Audi can't keep Q5's on the lot for dealers. They shut down '12 model year production in March.
April orders will deliver in July, and they will be '13's.
It all depends on how many 3.2 engines there are what the build out of '12s are. Audi could still push that motor until all the supplies are gone.
But I don't think you'll have to wait until Oct/Nov for a 2.0T Q5
There's not many 2.0Ts on the ground.
So you could get a '13 2.0T this summer, but have to wait for the '13 3.0T S/C until fall.
