Default Need help finding VAG-COM

I have used several search tools to try to find someone who will assist me with making VAG-COM changes. I live in metro detoit area (48060 area code). I have not been successful. Anyone know what I can do?

Also, what is the normal going rate for getting assistance making a couple of changes?

http://www.vagtoolfinder.com

I've made a few changes myself:
Gauge sweep, Lap timer/oil temp display, DRL remain on with turn signal, convenience windows.

Love it

Thanks for posting your link, but it is not helping find anyone in my area. The search function on these locators suck. Am I missing something????

I found this one as well:

http://vagcomlocator.com

Haven't tried to contact anyone, but the search tool seems to work well.

Using http://www.vagtoolfinder.com I found these contacts in Michigan, unfortunately nothing in Detroit.

Nathan Miller United States Michigan Houghton
Ryan Mindemann United States Michigan Southfield
Steve Kole United States Michigan Grand Rapids & Muskegon
Steve Martinek United States Michigan Three Oaks, 49128 SW Mich.
Joe United States Michigan Battle Creek
Tim Birney United States Michigan Dearborn Heights
Brandon United States Michigan Fenton
Stefan United States Michigan Rochester

Here's how to search on this site:
Click on Subdivision
Click on page number, to scroll to next set of pages click on "..."
The contacts for Michigan are on page 17

Good luck

Are any of these documented anywhere? I'm getting my S-Line this week and will stumble around to find the areas but it would be great if someone has already done the hard work Do you have the DVD player? If so, have you done the VIM mod? I have those instructions so I will be doing that on mine.

I found all the instructions and codes by searching this forum, either described or via links provided. It would be great if someone would post a sticky with these codes! You should find them if you do a search.
I purchased the Kufatec DVD in motion plug-in upgrade, but it was very disappointing when it did not work. I have sent it back, they claim to have sent me the wrong component for my MMI version, so I am still waiting to receive the correct one. There are instructions posted in this forum for doing it free of charge through VAG-COM. Many people seem to have bad luck with Kufatec and they are pricey.

Thanks for the responce, I'll do a search and maybe I'll to a one page post with all the mods I do. I did read about the Kufatec, but since I have the VAG I figured I would do the free one first . I'll keep you posted if I create the new thread
