Has anyone gotten traction on this? I just got a 2014 S5 this weekend and I'm looking for a lightning cable. Looks like it's in stock here, but I don't know anything about this vendor:

Which one of these would I get for a 2011 Q5 (4F0051510AC or the 4F0051510AD)? Will either of them work the same? I ordered the AD yesterday because it looked like it had more functionality but I'm not sure if it will work on my 2011.

I was given both a Lightning and a 30 pin cable with my 2014 Q5. I have used the 30 pin and it shows cover art from an Ipod nano playlist but haven't connect a device with music and artwork to the car with Lightning yet.

It troubles me that Canada seems to get all the freebies like 30 pin PLUS the seemingly unavailable Lightning PLUS free doggie nets etc etc.

While that may be true, at the same time I'm guessing you wouldn't want to pay the price for an Audi in Canada.

I had a conversation with audiusaparts and they told me I needed the 4F0051510AC for my 2011. It should be here on Friday.

Supposedly the AC version of the AMI/Lightning cable supports only audio and the AD version also will support video.

Right, but the AD is from 3G+ which is not available on the 2011 models.
