Just signed up.
This is my first experience with a luxury car brand closest I've got is vw Jetta TDI which has 288,000 and still running strong. We are in our 60's and grandma needs a decent car to haul grand kids around. I thought Subaru Outback would be ideal but grandma didn't like the look too car like she likes sitting higher and driving the Dodge Ram diesel.
So went to auto show and sat in everything with seats in it. Drove the Volvo XC60, I was in love with all the tech, adaptive cruise etc. next went to Subaru after reading all positives on forums it was a big disappointment lots of engine and road noise. Happened to drive by Audi and decided to check out Q3, grandma got in a Q5 and wouldn't get out. Took a test drive and she had a big smile. Wanted to go race and head for the cabin which has 20 miles of turns and hills. First thing she says is wonder how fast I can go thru them corners. Anyway the Q5 was so quiet, and smooth and fun to drive was a beautiful car to us.
Went home and slept on it and ran back next morning and drove it again. Bought a CPO 2016 premium plus with technology package 2.0T with 2500 miles on it. Now reading this forum I feel a bit inadequate for not getting a SQ or 3.0 but I think the 2.0 has plenty of power for grandma.
Excited to pick it up tonight after work, might have to sneak out early don't think I'll make it all day.

Congrats! There are many happy 2.0T owners on the forum, so no reason to second guess your choice. The most important thing is it sounds like your wife loves the car. Enjoy!

Hahahahahahaha! This is exactly what happened to me. I was set and completely satisfied with the 2.0. I went to the dealer to look at paint colors and they had a new 3.0 there (they were all 3.2 when I had been shopping at the time) so I thought 'Why not' and took it for a test drive. In addition to selecting my color, I also changed my order that night to a 3.0. And when that started feeling inadequate after 2 years, I picked up our SQ5 last Fall.
So yes. Don't drive either of these and you won't know the difference. The 2.0 is a fantastic engine in a great car. You don't NEED more.
(or do you!?)

I also just bought a 2.0T. I am used to the 2.0T on the A4. and my car being new, I haven't quite put it through its paces yet, But I feel, for a guy moving his family around the 2.0T has plenty of juice in it.
Congratz , You will love it.
