New Q5... in a couple months....
The wife and I went and pulled the trigger tonight. We put down our deposit on our new Q5 at the US military sales at RAF Lakenheath, UK.
Premium Plus, Ibis White w/ Cinnamon, B&O, Navi and 19" wheels w/ all-seasons...
Let the waiting begin..

Welcome to the club. Me and the wife are also waiting for our Q5 to arrive - est Jan-Feb.
I think we need to start a support group for anxious Q5 'owners to be' waiting for their cars to actually get here.

Great news, FYI it took 2 months and 3 days when I ordered ours from military sales in Germany. Customs will be your biggest factor as another guy ordered his about two weeks before mine but took delivery about two weeks after I got mine. Dealer said customs paperwork was his hold up.

order update..
Military sales dealer called me 2 days ago with my buyers offer and my VIN number.. he tells me that it's built and on it's way to England for delivery... should be here in a few weeks... here's the kicker...
He told me that somehow in the system, the custom ordered Q5 that my wife and I specified was accidentally made available for anyone to purchase as though it was just going to be put into stock.. apparently the Military Sales dealer in Heidelberg sold my Q5 to someone else... my dealer then went on to tell me that he made some phone calls and got it all straightened out.. so... if there is someone out there on the forum that had a white Q5 offered to them and retracted... I'm sorry but it was mine to begin with...

Just ordered mine yesterday as well. Ibis White/Black Premium+. Of all my Audis this is my first brand-new one and the first car I've ever ordered from the factory. Going to be a long wait!
