Drive it in rain, you'll see it there.

Very stable especially in heavy rain, especially when you hit puddles.

I came from a couple BMW coupes and at first the steering felt a little strange (19 in wheels), almost like it got somewhat heavier on low speed cornering. But after 500 or so miles I never really noticed it anymore. I love the feel of the steering now (5K miles) on both city and highway. Just took a little breaking in/getitng used to I think. You shouldn't be overly concerned.

The parking speed steering shudder is a different issue but you should be able to get that taken care of at the 5K service. Prob not worth a special trip to the dealer, its not a safety issue.

At the beginning I used to drive the hell out of it and my front wheels got badly cupped from the aggressive cornering. It drives great for an SUV, but be prepared to see an effect on tires and brakes (according to my dealer) if you flog it... it's heavy.
