Default New Shift **** for 2.0T P+

Looking for some ideas on a new shift **** for my 2011 2.0T P+.

I like the air leather peforated look, has anyone modded this successfully? I did a quick search on this forum and there were no concrete results.

I am aware of the Europrice shift **** but wanted to poll you guys for some options.

Yes, I did it.

8K1 713 139 S HWI selector lever handle soul (black)/silver

8K1 713 139 S XZZ selector lever handle soul (black)

You must know how to install it!

I installed the S-Tronic shifter on mine.

You have to heat and twist the plastic, and file it down to make sure it engages the plastic at the correct spot.

If you don't have a tool to reset the gear shifter, you'll probably need one. My dad and I did the project together and made a tool out of a drill bit end.

Good luck!

You can always just upgrade to the s-line perf leather **** that still goes to the side. Or get one of the new facelift ***** from the 2013's.

I quite like my 2013 S-Line ****. OmegaQ5 posted a good picture from his Volcano Red:

I agree with Wunsch. The 2013 shift looks great and feels great in your hand. A definite improvement over my 2011.

Not personally, but they come up a lot as one of the go to guys along with one or two other places on various boards. So if you're concerned about the business being "legit" and whatever, then don't be.

http://www.ebay.de/itm/NEU-Audi-V8-4...item589419e6d7

no need to change anything... still you have to know how to install this selector lever... it is 10 min process...

Removing old selector lever
– Prise out gear lever boot using removal wedge and pull upwards to detach.
– Pull boot up and over gear ****.
– Open clip and pull off gear **** together with boot.

Installing new (Q5 2013) selector lever handle

When installing the selector lever handle, the interlock button must be pulled out to the stop and secured with either a cable tie or with the assembly aid supplied together with the new handle.

– Shift selector lever into position „N“.
Note: The selector lever can be moved by pulling the release rod.
– Turn selector lever boot inside out over selector lever handle.
– Turn locking ring as far as stop in direction so that markings -v- and -^- are no longer in line.
– With interlock button facing driver's side, push selector lever handle fully onto selector lever so that catch engages.

Not so clear without pictures, sorry...
