New TDI Owner from Seattle area
Hello everyone. My wife's Q5 TDI finally came in and wow, what a vehicle!
The acceleration is crazy addicting.
I did a lot of lurking and researching on the forum prior to our purchase, so thanks to so many of you that allowed us to make our purchase an informed one.
We're now an all diesel household.
Thanks,
Peter

Welcome. Q looks great. I see you're at the former Barrier. I didn't know if they did the whole new car presentation thing -- when I picked mine up, they just pointed me to it the front parking lot!

Not sure if they did or not as it's the first vehicle we've purchased from ex-Barrier/Autonation. It was prominently placed next to the showroom but besides the red bow, my other purchases at other dealers were similar presentations.
We haven't used the free car wash service yet. Looking forward to that

Congrats!!! Very nice... Ive got a very similar Q5 TDI ordered and cant wait to get it! Not sure how my dealer does deliveries. When we ordered my wife's VW EOS, they put it in the showroom to show it off. Nice touch which adds to the thrill of a new acquisition.
Enjoy!!! Im sure you will!

My deliveries have all been outside, no special presentation or anything but personally I prefer the more practical approach. They at least weren't anything like being handed the keys and pointed in the direction of the vehicle, though. Got the walkaround and walkthrough and everything, it just wasn't taking place in the showroom.
