Default the answer to that question is Yes....

we are a second class country now due to the value of the US Dollar.

Feel free to blame whatever entity or group you feel most responsible for this situation.

I am more concerned about the lack of engine choices than DSG...a manual would also be nice

Default Well think about this

The NY auto show and the Bejing show are a month apart. Audi chose to unveil their new SUV in China rather than the US.

Also I encourage you to read the press release for Q1 2008. It mentions strong growth in China Western Europe and the UK. North America is not even mentioned in the press release.

North America is Audi's 3rd lagest export market behind the UK and China. Germany is still their largest market making us 4th in line when it comes to priority.

So yes they may view us as second class.<ul><li><a href="http://www.audi.com/audi/com/en2/about_audi_ag/news/unternehmen/monthly_summary/AUDI_AG__best_first-quarter_vehicle_sales_in_company_history.html">Aud i first quarter press release</a></li></ul>

Default If the car is not that popular then we get a stick

if they can not keep up with demand - then there will be no need to off a stick and jeopardize production to add one
