Anyone here owns or has compared the standard non-heated vs the heated seats in terms of softness? I would assume they are softer due to the absence of the heating elements.

Too bad I haven't seen a non-heated seat optioned Q5 in the dealership for comparison. The heated ones are stiffer than my preference.

I haven't seen a non heated seat in years. I can understand though what you mean. I find the bottom area of the seat (were your **** goes) a bit stiffer.

You would have to find a Premium (Base) model in a warm climate to find a Q5 without heated seats or a special order anywhere else.

Possibly compare front seats with back one... not all cars have back seats heated...

Most cars don't have heated rears.
