I'm two years out on a three year lease with about 25k miles on the original 18" all-season tires (Michelin). The tires are wearing evenly, but clearly the are not 50k mile tires as the tread is much more than half worn. With another year (and winter) on the lease, I don't want to ride them out only to have Audi Financial charge me for a new set of tires after about 36k miles. If this is the case I'd rather enjoy the ride on new tires myself for the next year.
My question for the higher mileage drivers out there is how many miles did you get from the original tires?

A lot of tire life depends on the tire compound and driving style ![Smile](https://www.audiworld.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
The wife wore out a set of soft compound tires on her previous little car in about 20k miles
, while my big honking deezle had tread left @ 95k when I just decided to change them because of an upcoming cross country trip...
since the Q is her's, I should start saving for tires now

Had to replace my 17" OEM Goodyears on my 2009 P+ A4 at 31k miles (tread was gone - I was really surprised). Turning it in with 34k miles and picking up my 2011 Q5 P+ in a few weeks. I'm thinking that this winter I'll get winter tires for the Q5 and at least get some functionality out of a new set of tires and also save enough tread on my stock tires to not get dinged at the end of my 36 mo lease.....
