Default Ordered our Q5, got a good deal!!!

Well, after months of shopping we ordered our Q5. I'm happy with our deal. I was pleasently surprised that I was able to get the $1500 Audi loyalty rebate on an ordered car!!! So, I negotiated the price of the car down to $440 over invoice but they said I had to pay the advertising/preparation fee of $389. The sticker on my Q5 (2.0T premium, no sunroof, added bluetooth, heated seats, Ipod integration) was $37,525. After the Audi rebate and my discount I got it for $34,290!!! (plus conveyance fee of $299, plate transfer of $105, and sales tax). That works out to $671 under invoice. I'm happy with that. Now we wait 2 months!

That's a pretty darn good price. Isn't that at invoice, if not slightly below even? Congratulations!

Man... that loyalty program is no joke. Hopefully, Audi's next generation Q7 will be quite something, and they still have that program still around. Q7 seems like the obvious transition from the Q5 for a growing family.

Congratulations! That sounds like a great deal indeed.

Do you know if the amount for the Audi Loyalty Program is seasonal? I've heard that the amount varies depending on where we're at in the calendar year.

I'm not sure how the owner loyalty program works other then you have to be an owner of a newer Audi. One thing I will tell you, one dealer quoted me $1,200 for the rebate while the others said $1,500. You would think they would all be the same so watch them and do your shopping. We visited 4 Audi dealers.

Hi,

I just ordered my 2.0T Q5 in Montreal.

Not much flexibility on price: 2.0T Premium Plus ($45300), pano roof ($2300), NAV ($3200), adaptive lights ($300), Teak Brown ($750)/Beige interior and Audi Care ($750). Add to that $1995 for transport and prep.

I was only able to get about $1700 of freebees: 18" winter tires (Pirelli Scorpion)+ installation, cargo liner and winter floor mats.

Delivery 2nd week of November...that's gonna be a loooong wait!

Anybody else has pricing info for Quebec/Canada? Does the $1700 make sense? I think that's about 50% of their profit.

PS: I was planning on getting black with cinnamon brown interior, then I saw the teak brown demo and thought it looked amazing!! I don't like the almond colored wood inserts inside though so I kept the standard aluminium type inserts.

May I ask where you bought pgarzani, if you care to say online? You could always PM me instead if you would like to share. If not, I'm kool with that .

Yep, it's going to be a looong wait, but hope it goes quickly .

Bonne Chance!
