DIY or pay the dealer? How much? I would like to do this to my wife's Q5.

I am sure this could be DIY, but after dropping 40-50K on the vehicle, I bet your dealer will install for free. The issue is ordering the right part. I had my dealer order me the replacement, but I am still not 100 % sure it is the nice looking one with the chrome stripes (like on the forum's front page).

That looks nice.

Hmm but the filler looks like it's a darker black than the paint on the car. At first i thought your car was meteor gray.
