I had my car shipped to Germany a few years ago and it got damaged in transit. The damaged area was repainted. You couldnt tell the difference with the naked eye. But after I took a few pictures, it clearly showed up. It was like it was different color almost. Anyway, take a look at gaps between panels, or you can get a gauge that measures the thickness of the paint. If it was repaired, it will show up. Also check for overspray on seals and plastic parts but I doubt they will make that mistake.
