Default Putting a roof rack on it?
If I get one I would like to get a roof rack to be able to put a kayak on top of it. Can you put a roof rack on it? Are there any issues with trying to transport a kayak on top of it?

I think most or all Q5's come with an additional roofrack, just check the specs if it's still the same for 2011 models.
I assume a Kajak will fit

My 2010 Q5 came with a roof rack. You can easily put a kayak on top of it.

What they are saying is; the bars come standard with the car. You just need to get the kayak adaptor, box, bike rack or whatever.
