Default Q5 3.0T Dipstick part number?

After searching, I could not find the part number for a dipstick for the new 3.0T engine. Does anyone have it? Is it the same as the old 3.2 (part # # 06E-115-611-H)??

We will be taking delivery of our new 2013 Cuvee Silver Q5 PP tomorrow.

Thank you!

The 3.0T doesn't have a dipstick. The MMI displays the oil level.

Thanks Jim. My 3.2 didn't come with a dipstick either. I will be adding one when I can get the correct part #.

Ah. Sorry! I misunderstood your question.

I wasn't aware you could retrofit a dipstick to the 3.0T. If you are able to find a part number, I'd be interested as well.

Thanks!

That appears to be the right number for the 3.0T. Received email confirmation from the guy at EuropaParts. I had one in the 2011 3.2 I traded in and should have kept it. It was $24 at the dealer at the time, they now want $42 for the same part. Just ordered one (06E-115-611-H) from GenuineAudiParts for $33 shipped, best price out of 4 or 5 places I checked. I'll let you know if it works when it gets here.

That is the part#. It works on the wife's 3.2 Q5 and is currently in my 3.0T S5.

Here it is: http://www.europaparts.com/catalogse...tick+audi+2.0T

Thanks for the confirmation! I stuck the dipstick into the new 3.0 engine to see if it fit. It did and the oil level reads about mid-way between "full" and "add". The MMI showed "MAX".

Got mine today. With a little over 1000 miles on it, the display has shown MAX since day 1. The level today on the dipstick was high at about 1/4" above the MAX level mark (hot). I have not gotten the "Please reduce oil level" message so I guess it's ok. On my 2011 3.2 that high level message did come in once after I had the dealer do the first oil change so I could watch and learn. I removed about 1/2 qt. and the dash display and dipstick matched perfectly. Now I'm wondering on the 3.0, which reading is correct. It's strange that your readout said MAX and the dipstick was a little lower, just the opposite of what I'm seeing. I'm also wondering, if the dipstick is accurate, why the high level message has not come in. It could be that they slightly overfilled it at the factory and that the sensor has been adjusted so it doesn't display the warning until it gets a little higher?? Don't know. I'll measure in the 7.2 qts when I do the next change and have a better idea which one is telling the truth. I also noticed that I could get a reading on the display immediately after closing the hood. On the 3.2, it took a few starts and stops before it would indicate the level again. Nice change

Got my dipstick today as well. At around 1,500 miles, mine reads just a hair over max. MMI shows MAX.

It's easy to buy the wrong part. I did. It is nice to have a "real life" -- analog? -- dipstick to double check the electronic measurement. Mine has been spot on.
