Anyone using SD card noticed any sort of delay in the card to load? I am using a 32 GB card and it take 60 secs or more for the music to start playing.

I've noticed delays of that long after making updates to the card (whether copying new music or playlists). Without making changes, no delays. I suspect the MMI does some caching of the folder structure and refreshes when it sees changes - just speculation on my part.

I have read somewhere in the forums that the more folders you have, the longer the load times. Less to do with the number of files in each folder than the number of folders.

Unfortunately, that does not seem to be the case for me. I have the same set of songs (about 10 gb or less) sitting in my SD card for past 2-3 months, but still it takes 60 secs or more to load every time I start the car. I have 2012 PP w/o Nav.
As far as I remember I bought a class 10 card.

Will the dealer be able to fix this issue?

(1) What audio formats are supported? Is there a list online I can look at? I'm particularly interested in whether WMA lossless is supported?

(2) What are the best ways to organize the music on the SD card?

(3) Any issues with using a 32GB card?

Thanks...
I am using both MP3 and WMA formats and both work fine.

I mainly organize my folders by artist name but have a couple of other folders that are a mix of artists. The MMI system sorts the folders alphabetically and also the song name alphabetically within the folder.

I have no issues at all with the sound quality from the SD cards.

I use two SD cards - one marked "His" and one marked "Hers" - makes them easier to use :-)

There is a thread for the A6 which may be helpful: https://www.audiworld.com/forums/sho....php?t=2840907

But some features may only apply to the Navigation Plus system.

WMA Lossless is not supported.

I just use Lame at the -V2 quality setting for all the mp3s I make.

For my filenames and folders I use:

Artist \ (Year)* Album Name \ 01. Song Title

-----
* Year only if artist has extensive discography
