Chances are, they broke the auto leveler bezel when they change the bulb.

Just got off the phone, and per the service manager, "the leveler wasn't lining up due to an electrical short in the headlight assembly, so we had to replace the entire assembly, which is a $1200 item." I'm just happy it got taken care of relatively quickly and they did discover the root of the problem. So, hopefully there will be no future issues, and no one else has a similar issue with their Q5.
