Q5 came with 18" wheels. Are stock OEM 19" wheels/tires plug and play? Lug nuts?

Q5 came with 18" wheels. Are stock OEM 19" wheels/tires plug and play? Do I need spacers? Lug nuts from stock 18"s work? Do I have to worry about TPMS incompatibility? Thanks

If you want a comfy ride stay with 18's. My 19's on the Q5 ride as hard as my 2011 S4 with 18's. I'd actually downgrade to 18's, I almost regret getting the 19's but they look so good.

To answer your questions. (Unlike the above poster.)

Yes, they will be a direct fit. No spacers and your lug nuts will work.
If you have an 09 then you will need to buy TPMS sensors or have them swapped from your 18s.
If you have a 2010 - 12 then you don't need to worry. Just reset the sensor in the MMI.

09's has sensors in the wheels.
The 2010 - 12" uses the ABS sensor.
So no need to swap or buy sensors for your new wheels.

Off topic, but I'm selling my oem 19 inch with the tires. The wheels and tires are in great shape, with only 2000 miles. Willing to let them go for a good price.

I did this with my Q5. No issues. I love the look of the 19" 5-arms and have noticed no difference in ride. That said, my 18"s are now my winter wheels with the Blizacks installed. They'll be on in 3 months.
