Good afternoon Guys,
So got the Lane Assist error and couldn't turn it back on. I see this thread and wonder if anyone has any advice?

I did climb under the car and check for any water/corrosion and didn't see anything. Do you all know if there is a way to troubleshoot this? It looks like you can buy used sensors off ebay but don't know if it is a sensor or something else. I am trying to avoid a trip to Audi for a $$$$ fix. I have a VCDS if that helps.

Thanks

Do you have current or recently repaired damage to the rear bumper cover?

Nothing has changed on back bumper... Thank goodness.... That would be even more expensive

Anyone find a solution to this? Got the same error “control module 2 for lane-change assist” “automatic calibration not possible”. No accidents or damage to the bumper recently (that I am aware of)

Some online advice is to clear the error codes and drive the vehicle. Dynamic calibration may occur automatically.

Thanks Dennis. I tried clearing it with VCDS and it came back immediately as soon as I turned it on (the warning disables it until you turn it back on) and drove above 40 mph. When I’m home I will look in VCDS as I saw you can check the angular deviations, it’s only the one on the passenger side rear bumper that says it can’t calibrate.
