I pretty much did. I thanked him for the April Fool's joke and told him to let me know when he really wanted to deal. I am looking for an ibis white with cardamom interior and nothing more. He tried to validate his pricing by station it had a navigation system in it. Sorry, but I have yet to see a mfg navi that can compete with an entry level garmin or the like. So I certainly not spending $2k plus for something I don't want, nor is it good.

So far not very impressed with the customer service portion of Audi. None of them seem to want to talk about pricing. The one that did was way over the top. I have had one so far that said they would honeor TMV on Edmunds, but that is about it. Although BMW has not been the best when it has come to many things, but at least they are straight up with pricing. At this rate I may just keep my X3.
Seems to me that even in today's economy they just don't want to sell a Q5. Yes, I know they are the hot ticket right now, but today's bad CS sale (singular) is tomorrow's lost sales (plural).

Seems like $2,200 under MSRP is what TMV is, by what I see from you folks. Thanks it is a nice bit of info to work with. I have no problem spending money, but won't waste it either. I don't think any of us got to where we are, by acting (spending) foolishly.

You better look again. Invoice for a Premium Plus is $40,549 (unless you want Ibis White or Brilliant Black in which case you can subtract $475 for paint).
In the Denver area the average price is $41,749. I talked my dealer down to $41,800 and he's throwing in the service package. Around here they're selling like hotcakes (what does that mean anyway?). My dealer has 7 coming in this month (mine being one of them) and they're all spoken for. He won't be gettting any more 2010's, only 2011's moving forward and he said it's likely to be late August/early September before they have any of them.
I'm glad I put down my deposit when I did.

MSRP and invoice are two different things. MSRP on a Q5 premium plus WITH NAV is over 45k. $2500 under that would be almost $43k. The invoice you're looking at is WITHOUT NAV.
