So I certainly not spending $2k plus for something I don't want, nor is it good.
Actually, if it had the premiun plus WITH Nav, the sticker price would have been a little over $45,000. If it had the 19" wheels on top of that, it would have been a tad over $46,000. In that case, it's a good deal and you should have jumped on it. A bad deal would have been without the nav system at that price. The nav package (which is more than just nav) jumps to price to over $45k.

THAT is exactly what I am looking for, weather mats and all. So you are saying you got it for $40K? Why does invoice say $36k?

Default Not Impressed

So far not very impressed with the customer service portion of Audi. None of them seem to want to talk about pricing. The one that did was way over the top. I have had one so far that said they would honeor TMV on Edmunds, but that is about it. Although BMW has not been the best when it has come to many things, but at least they are straight up with pricing. At this rate I may just keep my X3.

Seems to me that even in today's economy they just don't want to sell a Q5. Yes, I know they are the hot ticket right now, but today's bad CS sale (singular) is tomorrow's lost sales (plural).

Forget about what the invoice says. Different sites will give you somewhat different invoice prices depending what they add in. My msrp was 47,350. Paid 45,150.

edmunds invoice 44,100
truecar.com invoice 44,170-44,522

Default $2,200

Seems like $2,200 under MSRP is what TMV is, by what I see from you folks. Thanks it is a nice bit of info to work with. I have no problem spending money, but won't waste it either. I don't think any of us got to where we are, by acting (spending) foolishly.

Cheers,

EE

True True. Good luck with the negotiating. There are deals to be had out there. Just need to find the right dealer.

In the Denver area the average price is $41,749. I talked my dealer down to $41,800 and he's throwing in the service package. Around here they're selling like hotcakes (what does that mean anyway?). My dealer has 7 coming in this month (mine being one of them) and they're all spoken for. He won't be gettting any more 2010's, only 2011's moving forward and he said it's likely to be late August/early September before they have any of them.

I'm glad I put down my deposit when I did.
MiTT, what dealership in Denver did you get your Q5 from? My wife and I just went by Prestige yesterday and generally liked them a lot better than McDonald.

MSRP and invoice are two different things. MSRP on a Q5 premium plus WITH NAV is over 45k. $2500 under that would be almost $43k. The invoice you're looking at is WITHOUT NAV.
