Default Q5 pricing

I'm about to purchase a Q5 3.0T, still not sure about the price. For those of you who purchased a Q5, how much % off MSRP did you get? Thanks!

Huh? I got 4% off which isn't an option. I'm sure many others did not manage to get 6-12% off either.

My friend is a long-time customer and he got 10% off including $1000 loyalty. FYI, Audi employees get to lease at 15% back.

Default 2016 Q5 3.0T Pricing (PA)

Hello, October 31, 2015 (yes the end of the month of course) I bought a new 2016 Q5 3.0T Premium Plus with the Tech package, all weather mats and liner, wheel locks and the useless iPod lightning cable (it was in the one we wanted).

Dealer will have to get the car, white with brown leather...

MSRP 51,345
Sell price 45,865
Trade in 18,000 (2011 Rav4 limited with 41800 miles on it V6)
750 dollar rebate (I own a 2015 GLK)
Taxes 1626.90
License and Fees 159.15
Document Fees 134.00

Total unpaid balance 29,035.05

I need to find a good finance rate, the dealer can only get 2.34%, too high. PNC will do 1.74% for 48 months for me. Benz wanted to put me into another GLK, they had 1.69% for 63 months with TD Bank. Surprisingly, Audi can't get the same rate for me, probably not enough volume with TD in my area for Audi.

Was it a good deal, probably. Could I have gotten a little more for my trade, maybe 200-400 more.

Was quoted the following:

Audi Care - ~830 dollars
Extended Warranty for a 70k/7year policy:
3195 for 0 deductible
2895 for a vanishing deductible - whatever that is
2395 for a 100 dollar deductible
2195 for a 250 dollar deductible

Here is how it compares to MB...
On our 2015 GLK

2200 for a 7/75k warranty with no deductible, fully refundable (except sales tax) if you don't get into the second warranty period (after 4 years, 50k miles)

4 years of the equivalent Audi Care - 1300 dollars

By far, Audi has the better deal on maintenance but their extended warranty is weak compared to MB.

Which in the end is 10.67% off of the list price...

FYI, you can get better prices on these OEM warranties by going to fd-warranty directly.

Hi Pete,

Thanks for the reply... can you help me out (sorry I'm not being lazy I'm just new to audiworld...)

Where is fd-warranty and how do I get in touch with them?

Many thanks,

Mike T.

Ah, Troy D... now I know who you mean. He's sold me 3 warranties for Toyotas in the past, I didn't know that was a website.

Thanks Pete!
