Default Q5 stock suspension: feel loose on bumps?

So, one thing I'm noticing on my '12 is that some bumps in the road seem to cause the front suspension to feel really "loose". It's like the suspension takes the hit but sounds like its used all the travel. And these aren't large bumps. Doesn't feel like the wheel travel gets damped down and feels weird. This isn't at high speed - it happens traveling in my neighborhood at or below the posted speed limit. And the bumps don't have to be very big - could be like a 1" manhole depression. Stock springs too light maybe?

Anyone else notice this?

I am kinda feel that the car not that firm on the ground too. I feel it bumpy.
But I told myself it's not a sedan.

What size wheels do you have? I have 20" on mine and the side wall is short enough that it doesn't soak up the bumps in the road as much as you would get with the stock 18". 20" wheels may look nice but you do pay for it on bumpy roads.
