Default q5 third brake light out

My 3rd brake light randomly went out on my 2009 today. Any ideas why? Loose connection? Is there a separate fuse for it?

Also, does anyone have tips for taking the assembly apart?

figures I take everything apart and it works fine. I hope its not a broken solder joint or something similar.

FYI, to get the top trim off of the hatch you have to take the bottom trim off first. There are 4 screws behind the light panels and that center compartment. From there it is held in place with clips. It's a pain to get off without some kind of pry tool. So is the connector for the open/close button.

Default Ridiculous removal procedure...

If Audi deigned with one screw in each side of the brake light lens would have taken less than 5 minutes to remove. Now you need to spend a few hours and probably break the clips, etc. trying to remove it. I just don't understand Audi engineering anymore compared to years ago.

I'd like to see the the dealer charge for this one......

Because that would make too much sense However, since they are LED's and not bulbs that burn out easily they probably didn't need to design something that was easy to take out.

I was actually surprised how well designed those clips are (they're metal). Everything is very well put together. If you break something then you were pulling the wrong way and too hard.
