I think the market demand speaks for itself. Q5 is hard to get, let alone in stock for pickup, while X3 is all over the places.

Not saying one is better than the other. I don't know much about the engineering of either one. I just loved the Q from the first time I saw it.

So that initial video was a BMW event. Evidently they have turn off the traction control on the Q5 and GLK, that's why the X3 did better.
I was debating between the X3 and Q5. It all boiled down to the interior. The X3 felt and looked cheap...really really cheap. The airbag cover on the steering wheel was coming off already on the demo we took out.

I was on that event. They way they present - well, even my wife didn't get convicted that that was real test.
