Default Q5 Wheels Questions

Hi!
Just wondering if tires and rims for an A7 would work for a Q5?

The answer to your question is dependent on the specific specs of the wheels you are looking at. Some may fit, others may not. I'm running S7 wheels on my SQ5. But the tires will likely need to be higher profile in order to match the size needed for your speedo, else I'd think you'd be way off.

The wheels I'm looking at are 20X9 with an offset of 37, the tires are continental 265/35/20. The set is OEM for the A7. If you could let me know if you think those would work I would appreciate it!

The wheels will fit but the tires will be too short. You can try using willtheyfit.com to compare to other setups. I plugged in a pretty wide and aggressive setup someone else is running as a comparison point.

Online Wheel and Tyre Fitment Calculator

For the Q5, you can run a more aggressive offset than the setup you are considering. I ran a 20x9 et30 setup for a while and thought it could have used spacers. And there's plenty of sets that come up for sale in the classifieds that will have the correct sized tires and look better overall.

Thank you! Do you suggest using the setup that you plugged in on willtheyfit.com? I'm new to this whole thing so I'm a bit of a noob! Thanks for the help.

It really depends on what you're looking for in terms of looks and performance (and budget LOL). There's a lot of options available in terms of sizes that will work. Is there a specific reason you're looking for new wheels?

You can start here to see what other people are running: The Official Q5/SQ5 Wheel Thread - Post your setup!

I like the "beefier" look (not sure if thats the right term), I like the look of bigger wheels. I asked the Audi dealership about ordering 20" but it was way too pricey for me. This is a lease so I am not looking to spend too much... but thank you I'll check out that forum. If you have any suggestions, send them my way, I have been looking around but just do not know enough about wheels.
Thank you!

Many options out there but here's a good deal for wheels from the now defunct STaSIS as an example (price is for a set of four).
