I'm glad I awaited clarification before weighing-in on this poll.

Q5 replaced my wife's Volvo XC70 as her daily-driver. I drive the Q5 every available chance I get.

To further clarify, my wife is female, I'm male.

Just to be clear, this poll is for straight men only, no metro sexual men allow

Hey I have a wife and I'm not a man. Why doesn't my vote count? Equal rights y'all!

Could someone with more tech savvy than I have start a poll to see how many of us Q5 drivers are men and how many are women? I'm feeling left out since I couldn't participate in this one, plus I've always wondered what the breakdown was.

Ask the original poster

Seriously, the poll should have been rather you are a male or female owner. My guess is about 50/50 overall, but since guys frequent these forums more often than females, the poll will lean toward mostly male owners.

I bought it for me but gave her the op to take it for her daily driver...she chose "our" 335i. Humph!

Wow!

I just registered here specifically to ask this question. My question was going to be:

I want my boyfriend to buy a Q5 though he said it is too feminine and even might be a "mommy car?" I do not think so and 'm just curious how many of you are guys with the car and if you regret purchasing it because you now feel that it feminine in any way?

Thanks.

welcome to the forums, you will find alot of helpful information here and people who are willing to help.
I do not think the Q5 is too feminine, but Audi managed to design an SUV that women could easily live with just as men could.

I am a man, buying the Q5 for my wife's 38th birthday - but happy to drive it anytime.

Probably a good idea. If desired someone can create another poll with more universal inclusion.
