No way is the Q5 a "girl's car" or a "mommy ride". A 60 year old hetero male here that can haul his bicycle, dog, mulch bags, whatever, and do so in any weather. This is my third Audi with Quattro and I just got out of a Porsche Cayman because i couldn't haul the old girlfriend and her broom at the same time.
I see many more women driving Cayennes, RX350's, X3's, LR models and the ubiquitous Yukon than the Q5. Broomhilda drives one of those Murano-things......when her broom won't start!

:^)

I've always saw the Cayenne as the only Porsche a family guy could talk his wife into.

Thanks.
I never received so many good comments or thumbs up in another car and this mainly from man. It is definitely not a feminine car!

I bought my 2010 S-line for me.

Wife liked it so much, we bought a 2010 Q5 for her as well about 2 months later.

Not sure how to vote on this.

I'd say the Q5 is a gender neutral car. I've had compliments from both men and women on my Q5.

The blokes give me a thumbs up and high fives.
The ladies get all flirtatious and the glimmer in their eyes suggest hanky panky in the back seat... But I could be misreading them.

Love this stuff fellas thank you. Sorry if this is wrong"place" I am very ashamed to say I am having a hard time with these forums, navigating I mean. Quarantine has provided me with WAY to much time to spare so I want to learn about these forums. I absolutely love the idea. Thanks guys and also wanted to say we are greatful for the wealth of knowledge everyone here has, and you guys made a way to combine it all. Incredible really.
