I have decided to trade my 2010 S5 for a 2014 QS5 this fall. Does anyone have any info on the colors?? All I am seeing is that it comes in panther black and some blue color. I am wanting a red one. I sure hope it comes in more than two colors. If not I guess I will end up with black on black.

I think on most cars you can custom order a color for an added fee of around $2500. This would require you to order it instead of buy off the lot though.

As doobs noted you can choose an Audi exclusive color.

My understanding is the black and blue you mentioned will be exclusive to the SQ5, and the standard colors will also be available. BTW, they are calling it SQ5, although some folks said they would have preferred QS5.

The reason they're just talking about Panther and Estoril (and Aral) is because those are exclusive "crystal effect" colors that will be available on the SQ5 among a few other S models. The SQ5 will have a number of other options available, which will hopefully include some of the "sportier" standard colors not available on the normal Q5. But you can be sure that there'll be an array to pick from, not just a couple of crystal colors, and as has been mentioned if they don't end up having a color you really really want then there's Audi Exclusive for a $2500 paint charge to select from most any current Audi color.

Audi exclusive colors are available on any model Audi. We have a few members on here with exclusive colors. Even one with a purple Q5!

Thanks guys. I knew about the $2500 up charge for a color. I did not want to go that route. I was just confused about hearing reports of those two colors. I really want a red one with black interior but I would settle for the panther black. I am the first on the list to get to order one at my dealer. They are saying late June or mid July.
