Default Quattro vs xDrive

Hi folks,

I was surprised by this video, as I thought the Quattro is one of the best AWD Systems out there ....

You did see the BMW sign on the side of the ramp right? Another sign that BMW is getting desperate.

I would tell you to search as this has been discussed many many times.

Instead i will post a link with lots of info which then leads to other links with even more info. All of which is on these forums.

As per the rollers, how often will you be in that situation?

Happy reading!

Because there is zero movement at the back and no slipping at the front the centre diff doesnt register a problem. Its not a real world situation. To achieve this you must bring the car to a complete stop first or it will not happen. And you have to gun it in a straight line to start.
Just be careful any time you park with one end on rollers
