I just tested AudiCo's method and it worked fine, with no advanced key option. I didn't pose the initial question, but this thread helped me. Never had an issue with seat storing, just auto seat movment upon unlocking. I did have the MMI set properly, so for the life of me, I don't know what was going on.

The seat memory buttons are set to the car only and have nothing to do with the key fobs. If wife takes her key"B" and drives the car(and adjusts seat to her specs), it will return to my specs as soon as I unlock the car with key"A". The presets in the car have nothing to do with the seat position remembered by the keys. Not sure if Audi mimics this or not.
