Turn the mirror adjustment **** to the passenger side adjustment location, and when in reverse that mirror will tilt down.

Sorry if I've forgotten from 6 months ago....
isn't there an mmi setting that may need to be changed as well?
you might take a quick scroll thru the car setup options to see...

I don't think there is an MMI setting. I just went thru this on our Q5.

Although I do wonder if having the switch set on the right mirror diables the heated mirrors.... I was going to experiment this winter.

I wish there were an MMI setting for this, as that would explain why mine still doesn't work even when set to this position. Guess I'll have the dealer check it out if there's nothing else but this to do...

Put it in that position. Engage reverse. Adjust mirror to where you want it while in reverse. That becomes your reverse position. When you drive off or centre the **** it will return to the normal position.
What may have happened is someone previously adjusted it for normal driving while reverse was engaged thus making both settings the same!

My mirror moves/points a little UP when I put it in reverse with the switch pointing to the right.
Any idea's.... or ot becomes a part of the dealer to-do list.
