I know theres been a few posts re. Rough downshifting in 14'/15' Q5s. I have a 13' which was recently updated with latest tranny software. Now I have the rough downshift when slowing to a stop. The dealer switched my display so I can see what gear im in. The rough shift occurs when shifting from 4 to 3 but is much more noticable when the car shifts from 5 to 3. This transmission will skip gears as its downshifting(eg. 7-5, 5-3). Most think its the 3/2 or even 2/1 shift as you are going very slow when you feel it. Its in 5th gear at 20 mph as your slowing. Had a 2014 loaner that did same thing so hopefully if enough complain they will come out with fix.
