So I looked up the red cable and found on in my local dealer, went in and tried it out and it didn't work with my AMI due to the fact that it doesn't have nav.
I'm wondering will I be able to display album art work on SD card without the NAV pkg??

I thought I'd read this thread very carefully. Great info thanks. I bought a storage unit. I removed the seat easily. Took apart the storage unit easily. But low and behold it does not fit!
See photo. There is an electrical box that gets in the way. If anyone wants to buy my unit please contact me. Or better still if you know an easy workaround. Thanks
