Default Spotted today: 2013 3.0 TFSI

So, the first Q5 I ordered (I later changed for an S-Line) arrived this weekend at my dealer in Halifax, and I stopped by this afternoon to take a quick look. I was in a hurry, so no time for a testdrive, but I did get a chance to take a few (crummy) shots with my phone. I love the glacier white, really glad I'm sticking with that for my "other" Q5. If I find the time later this week, I'll request a li'll test-run.

Some shots:

Wow, 25city/36hwy for mpg figures on the 3.0 V6. That's the first we've seen of that that I know of.

The 2.0 is only 20/27.

I dont see how that can be correct, but what do I know... Lol

I also didn't know you could get a 3.0 in a non S-line exterior body kit.

25 mpg (UK) = 20.82 mpg (US)
36 mpg (UK) = 29.98 mpg (US)

Still pretty darn awesome numbers. Better than I thought we'd see.

Yeah, guess I should have added that it was in Canada, which is also why its a 3.0 without the S-Line exterior (unlike the US model). Anyways, hope to get a chance to drive it later this week. Heck, I'd like to try the hybrid for the hell of it; they just got a couple of those in as well.

Well there's "Canada" prominently displayed on the the fuel economy sticker, and it's also in metric -- pretty obvious. Good highway numbers anyway.

Thanks for the pics ThorBob. I'm getting really impatient. Hopefully mine was on the same ship.

I wonder if this is actually correct for the US numbers. I figured there would be an improvement over the 3.2, but not that much.

I suspect their test cycles are different compared to the EPA routine. I would expect lower city/highway numbers on a USA vehicle.
