Agreed since the 3.0 in the a6 is rated at 19/28. It should be fairly good though for a V6 SUV.

Wake up people - apples and oranges. ubrwgn is right on both posts - not only are the gallons different but mileage is measured and calculated differently as well.

Those posted numbers can only be compared to other Canadian window stickers. Forget about converting them to U.S. EPA numbers!

That is correct. Canadian test cycles are, in fact, different and always result in inflated figures. We also use moose power instead of horse power to measure performance...Just one of those Canadian eccentricities.

Last Friday (when the ship landed) I met 2 auto carriers loaded with Audi's heading west. Quite a few Q5-shaped ones there, too!

Those 19's are the same wheels that were on US cars since 2009.

The 13 wheels are different for the US. The new 19's are ok...the 20's are much nicer for the 3.0.

I ordered mine with the 20's because I couldn't warm up to the new 19's. I prefer the older version of the 19's like the ones in the picture.

I did a quick and dirty conversion of the Canadian l/100 km figures to gal./mil for both the 2.0 and the 3.0 models. Then, I did a comparative ratio with the known factors to calculate the figures for the EPA ratings. I came up with 18.4/25.8. I'm sure those will be rounded down to 18/25.
