I'm looking at SQ5 109k and demo X5 M50D 125K, still a a good chunk but enough to make you think and wait that little bit. I have been in the SQ5 3 times now and will be test driving the BMW next week, I will post my thoughts.
I just recently drove the X6 3.0 2013 single turbo twin scroll, beautiful car but not enough punch and sound was way to boring. The SQ5 sounds awesome and felt like a much nicer interior and is so far the pick of the bunch.
Thanks again guys I know this is not a direct competitor but as I said it is simply in the range of my budget and ticks the boxes

For me, the X5 is just too big and heavy. While performance in a straight line is comparable, I would think that you would pay the price for the extra heft in the twisty bits. Would you not also pay the price at the pump? My $.02. Steve
