Anyone have any photos of SQ5 front license plate bracket? I just found a car for sale headed to the dealer but it has the bracket which usually I’m very opposed to on any car. Does anyone have side by side shot of the bumper with and without?

Just recently picked up my new SQ5. I told them before delivery not to the put the front bracket on. I was told that the front grill for US cars has to have the front bracket because the grill is made different and that I would have to special order a front grill that is made not to have the bracket and have it installed on my dime. I have no idea whether that is true and would like someone to chime in on whether I was fed a line.

All the grilles we've received have come pre-tapped for a front license plate. See the product photos for both the black optics grille and standard SQ5

That's bull**** you can order the car without the front bracket dealerships are just being lazy and not following up with customers request at the port of entry to the US! Their is no F&%$X way I'm using black tape as some have suggested too correct some ******* destroying the front bumper.

I ordered my 2015 SQ5 with no front plate. Dealer said, "No problemo, sir."
