Just took a closer look at your pics and noticed that MY14 has the "new and improved" paddle shifters, first noticed in Europe:

Not sure how I feel about them. :-/

This car was just having the cover unzipped so no dealer prep was done yet. The wheel gap is comparable to my 2.0T and didn't see any spring spacers.

Love the exhaust tips. Any idea it they would fit on to my 3.0T? Love over all look of this car.

Thanks for the pics!
sounded like an S4.( I have not heard or driven a S5) I stood behind it when the car was turned on..
Should have taken a video clip and had the saleguy rev the engine..

I will be going back in a week and a half to test drive a TDI. The one they had was sold yesterday so I was unable to test drive it, so as a consolation prize ;-p I test drove the SQ5.

Please look at this SQ5 seats... The leather in the center area has a different texture. Is it the standard seat or the fine nappa option?

Standard alcantara. I actually placed a deposit on that very car this evening.

I like the leather door trim from the nappa pkg, but alcantara is grippier.

I'm an alcantara hater for seats. Just can't stand it in the summer and makes me sweat. If you live up north, I can see how people might like it in colder weather.

But I do love alcantara headliners and wish you could get that on an sq5.

I drove the SQ vs the TDI back to back. Much preferred the SQ. it had just arrived on the truck. Very different power band. Prefer the instant on power of the supercharger. The interior is spectacular. Love the titanium paddle shifters and gear shifter.

@Scott Evil -- I noticed that you sold your 2012 Golf R. Would you mind sharing what happened there?

But clearly you didn't testdrive the TDI SLine If you're gonna compare to the SQ5 you need that for a chance of a fair fight. Granted it won't change that you like the instant SQ5 gas guzzling power, but it does affect the overall package comparison
