Default SQ5 Prices?

Hey for you SQ5 owners, were you able to get deals on your cars? Did you buy new or used? How much did you pay?

New and about 6-7% off. It was a car off of the lot with all the options I wanted. Premium plus with pretty much everything you can have on it. This was in South Florida.

We've also been looking, and so far have gotten quotes of 9% off in Houston (we do have supplier discount of 6%, so 3% beyond that), for fully-loaded premium plus SQ5s. With Audicare, city taxes, etc that's still a little under $63k drive-off. A Macan S the way I like it is about $75k drive-off, which is our alternative (but there's no negotiating and a 6-8 month wait now for the 2017 cars). I'd definitely consider a CPO SQ5 also, in the low $40s, but can't seem to find one with the colors or options I'd like.

There are 69 SQ5s showing in Houston today, and at the beginning of October there were 70. As far as I can tell they are all the same cars. I think there could still be room to get another few % off.

About 18 months ago, when oil was still $100, we looked at a Q5 TDI, and were told they wouldn't even honor the supplier discount; it was full MSRP or nothing. How times have changed!

This is so true. Before we moved to Alabama from Houston we looked at Audi Q5's and SQ5's and nearly every single one had identical specs save for color combinations. We ordered ours here in Alabama and got 6% off with free Audicare so we were happy. Did ACNA discount so we didn't even have to really negotiate the price. I may have been able to get a tad more off but after a 3 month wait I just wanted the car. I would imagine with all the bad publicity Audi is getting these days you may be able to get even a little more off now than before.

My dealer is offering 10% off thru internet sales.

The SQ5 is a loaded 21", Tech, Nappa, etc.. They have had it on the lot for a while....

$62,600 SQ5 on the lot and $6,200 off including loyalty/conquest cash.
Ask for Al in Internet sales.

I bought SQ5 2 weeks ago. premium, tech package , nappa , black optics , 21" ..pretty much loaded. got around 8% discount with little bit of negotiation . I felt I could have gone 1-2 % more but that's OK. ( They might have given me little more discount due to my employer , but I think one can negotiate to 8-9% very easily ).

SQ5 has an unique niche market and I don't think there are lots of buyers so they are probably able to give this much discount.. and yeah I love the car!

If I am understanding these threads correctly, people are seeing discounts of 7-10% off of MSRP. Does this include incentives (loyalty etc)?

Thanks for all the great info! This was really useful. Thought I'd throw my own research into the mix in case it helps others - just drove home in my new SQ5!

I was looking for: 2016 SQ5 black/black with Tech, Napa Leather, 20" wheels (this was the hardest part)

Going to each dealer's website I reached out about specific cars that matched my needs.

Lo and behold a dealer that was behind on their sales emailed me and offered 10% off MSRP (4% more than the 6% audi supplier discount I had).

This was way more than other dealers were giving me - some were saying the supplier discount was the best they could do which was annoying - others said they could take off $1k in addition to the supplier discount. So that's closer to what others in this thread were seeing with the 8% off.

Anyway, my advice is to target a specific car and reach out through an internet sales manager that is judged on volume and hope for the best!

Also if you're looking - the sales guy said that he'd extend my same offer to friends and family so PM me and I can send you his info - he's in northern california.

Oh one more thing - there's currently a $750 "conquest" cash offer for the Q5/SQ5 if you currently drive an 01 bmw/benz/acura/infiniti

He was able to take this off on top of everything else (after taxes)
