steering gone in 4 years 116k
I have a 2013 Q5, 116k on it
the intermediate steering column was gone according to the dealership
is this normal ?
I had numerous american and japanese cars, never had a steering problem in 10+ yrs driving these cars
were the lying to me or does audi have a problem ?

Just had the same thing happened to me this week. 2013 Q5 with 136,000 km had intermediate shaft replaced under warranty, just crazy. Was told the u-joints on it were frozen. Had to use 2 hands at low speed to steer, dealer seen this happened before.

Same here 2014 SQ5 47k miles. Steering was squeaking so they replaced the intermediate shaft. Unfortunately now the steering wheel points slightly right while going straight.
