Steering wheel started squeaking after getting 55K service done last week. Any ideas of what it could be? Dealer is 4 hours away so cant just go over. At first adjusting the position of the steering wheel would make the noise go away, but no longer. Every time I pull out or just turn it squeaks. Its not very loud but its becoming more persistent.
Thanks for your help

I have the 2010 3.2 Q5 and I also have the steering wheel squeak from time to time. It's there when you try to turn the steering wheel with your foot lightly on the break petal. I had someone in the Audi service dept. to test drive my car, he said that he can not pin point where the noise is coming from. He told me if the squeak gets louder, come to see him immediately.
After about 2000km, the squeak is still there but didnt get any louder.

Our 2010 Q5 has had a squeak in the steering wheel since Day 1. It only happens at very low speed.
I've had the dealer look at it - twice - always comes back "unable to duplicate."
Luckily, it's no big deal.
